
Lenovo IdeaPad Duet 3i 2-in-1 laptop with a bigger display. Lenovo, like many other phone and PC manufacturers, is present at MWC Barcelona this week to share details about its plans for the remainder of the year. Although the company’s 2023 lineup features refreshed ThinkPad laptops as well as ThinkCentre monitors in new models, the most exciting announcement is the IdeaPad Duet 3i.

Lenovo will update the Windows 11 2-in-1 with a 11.5-inch IPS panel. It has a 2,000×1,200 resolution, 100 per cent DCI-P3 coverage, and 400 nits peak brightness.
The updated model includes an Intel N200 processor and upgraded 5-megapixel, 8-megapixel rear-facing and front-facing cameras. Four-core, four thread processor with a boost clock up to 3.7GHz.
The IdeaPad can be configured with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The IdeaPad Duet 3i has Bluetooth 5.1 and WiFi 6 connectivity. It can also be paired with a stylus to make it ideal for students. The 2-in-1 device will be available in Europe later this year for EUR449 (or approximately $473).
Lenovo IdeaPad Duet 3i 2-in-1 laptop will also be updating its IdeaPad Slim 3 Chromebook range. The 14-inch laptop will be available in three display options. The Full HD model is at the top of this stack. It has an IPS panel with 100 percent sRGB coverage, and 300 nits brightness.
A FHD model also comes with a 250-nit TN panel. Lenovo also offers a 1,366×768 option for those who want to save as much as possible on their next computer. The IdeaPad Slim 3 can be configured with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB eMMC storage.
Lenovo claims its latest Chromebook can run for up to 13.5 hours with a MediaTek Kompanio520 processor. When the IdeaPad Slim 3 arrives in May, it will retail for $340.
Engadget has a hands-on review of the ThinkPad Z13 Gen 2 & Z16 Gen 2 laptops. The short version is that these laptops feature AMD’s Ryzen 7000 series processors.
Both devices can be configured with 64GB DDR5 RAM, and up to 2TB of internal storage. Lenovo will offer two screen options for the Z13. There are two options for the Z13 screen: an IPS or 2.8K OLED panel. Both displays have a 16/10 aspect ratio and 400 nits peak brightness.
The Z16 has a choice between an OLED or IPS panel. Both computers come with Bluetooth 5.1 and WiFi 6E support. Lenovo will also allow you to equip the Z13 with a partially woven plant fiber casing. The ThinkPad Z13 Gen 2 will be available in July.
It will cost $1,249. Lenovo anticipates that the ThinkPad Z16 Gen 2 will be available for purchase one month later. It will be available starting at $1,749.
