Outer Banks, Who is Alexander Jennings?
At the end of Episode 9 in Outer Banks’ third season, viewers were given a dedication card ‘In loving memory of Alexander Jennings’. Alexander served as a stunt performer who served as Chase Stokes’ stand-in or body double during that episode.
On July 15th 2022, Alexander Jennings tragically passed away at the young age of 22 due to injuries he sustained in a double hit and run accident near Charleston, South Carolina where the series was being filmed.
Kimmie Stewart Casting, who represented Chase Stokes, confirmed the news of his passing along with a heartfelt tribute. It was tragic for his family and friends to lose him unexpectedly; further, Kimmie Stewart Casting noted how Jennings was an incredible human with an infectious smile who will be dearly missed.
Chase Stokes shared a touching tribute on his social media platforms for Alexander. In the post, the actor expressed that he is still struggling to process Jennings’ passing and doesn’t understand why such things occur. Stokes further added how excited Jennings was about his music as his life was just beginning.
